This year's flood season, the city rainfall is less serious, flood season (May 1 - September 30) the city's cumulative rainfall of 302.2 (Liuhe) - 523.6 mm (Gao Chun), compared with the same period of the year, all districts are less than 3 to 5 percent, Liuhe 302.2 mm for the historical period of the lowest value, especially since September, the city's weather continues to be fine, Rainfall is 7.5 percent less than the usual abnormal period, the city Liuhe, Gaochun district and other parts of the drought. Since August, the flood and drought control departments at all levels in the city have persisted in both flood control and drought resistance, strengthened the analysis and judgment of water and rain conditions, scientifically dispatching water works, and actively organized the work of water storage, water conservation and water diversion to ensure the needs of agricultural production, water environment and transportation and shipping.
On October 18, in order to effectively cope with the drought, Nanjing Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau dispatched Nanjing flood control and rescue mobile team to the Shuibiqiao River estuary of Shuiyangjiang River in Gaochun District to support the local drought relief work. City flood control mobile team director Yu Yixin introduced, received the task, immediately dispatched to water Yangjiang water Biqiao estuary. With the cooperation of Gaochun District Water Bureau, the team members fought continuously without rest, installing electric submersible pumps with a flow rate of 0.2 cubic meters per second. On the evening of the 19th, the first batch of 20 pumps were installed and started operation. On the evening of the 20th, another 20 pumps were installed, with a turnover rate of 8 cubic meters per second, about 690,000 cubic meters per day, "equivalent to pouring a 'Xuanwu Lake' into Gucheng Lake every 10 days." Yu Yixin said.
"The drought is the command." The relevant person in charge of the municipal Water Bureau said that in order to effectively cope with the drought, strengthen communication with the meteorological department, master the weather trend, the city's water storage and water conservation work was arranged. The municipal Water Prevention Office issued the "Notice on doing a good job in the current drought and water conservation work", requiring all districts and units to strengthen engineering dispatching, and conscientiously do a good job of water storage and water conservation in inland rivers, reservoirs and small DAMS. We will make good preparations to fight the drought.
The drought-resistant operation is important. By dispatching Sanchawan Gate and Hongshanyao gate to divert water from Yangtze River to Chuhe River, the Hongshanyao pump station will turn over 73.3 million cubic meters of water when 2036 units are started, and the Liuhe water level of Chuhe River will be maintained at about 7.0 meters, ensuring the primary water supply of Chuhe River. Shuibi Bridge Gate and Yangjiawan Gate are deployed to divert Yangjiang water into Gucheng Lake, with a total water diversion of 167 million cubic meters and the water level of Gucheng Lake maintained at about 8.0 meters. Dispatching Tiansheng Bridge Gate to divert water from Shiwu Lake to Qinhuai River, a total of 179 million cubic meters of water; Coordinated the Qinhuai River Administration Office of the province to start the Qinhuai Xinhe Pump Station to pump water from the Yangtze River into the Qinhuai River. The cumulative water diverted was 113 million cubic meters, and the water level of the Qinhuai River was kept above 7.0 meters.
A total of 660 drought-fighting pumping stations were put into operation. When 185,000 units were started, 9.365 million kilowatt hours of electricity were used to fight the drought. 12,500 people were put in to clean 308 kilometers of drought-fighting ditches, and 248 million cubic meters of water were turned over.
The water levels of the Yangtze River, Chuhe River, Qinhuai River, Gucheng Lake and other major rivers and lakes in the city are normal compared with the same period of the year, and all of them can meet the conditions of drought-resistant water diversion and guarantee the water for agricultural production in the city. It is understood that this year, the city of rice, vegetables, aquaculture and other areas were not affected, Liuhe and other areas of rice harvest. In the next step, the municipal and district flood control departments will pay close attention to the weather changes, further strengthen the management of water storage, water retention and water diversion, and ensure the current agricultural autumn planting and water environment demand.
