According to reports, last year, Qinhuai District invested 18 million yuan to carry out the comprehensive treatment project of clear water pond, remove silt, intercept sewage, plant water grass, put algae eating insects...... The water quality level of the river jumped from five to three, and the clear water pond became the benchmark of water environment governance in the city.

The initial realization of "clear water and green bank" reflects the Qinhuai District's efforts in water control in 2016.
