From June 1st to 2nd, Samarkand, known as the "Pearl of Central Asia", successfully held the second China-Uzbekistan Local Cooperation Forum. The State Bank of Uzbekistan officially announced an important cooperation: appointing China-Uzbekistan Science and Technology Co., LTD. (stock code: Liu Changxin, the director of the Central Asia region, serves as the chief agronomist of his fruit and melon company and is responsible for technical advisory work.



The signing ceremony was held within the framework of the forum. The representatives who attended and signed the agreement included Mr. Akbar, the mayor of Rustan City, Jizak Province, Uzbekistan, and the head of the Investment Department of the State Bank, Mr. Sierzod, the chairman of Agrostar Co., LTD., a subsidiary of the bank, and Mr. Liu Changxin, the director of the Central Asia region of China-Soviet Technology.



Liu Changxin will mainly be responsible for introducing China's leading sub-film drip irrigation technology to the agricultural production of Agrostar Co., LTD. The application of this technology aims to significantly enhance the water resource utilization efficiency of agriculture in Uzbekistan, increase crop yields and promote sustainable agricultural practices. And give full play to the profound accumulation of Sino-Soviet science and technology in the field of efficient water-saving irrigation technology. Through advanced irrigation solutions verified in various complex crop planting environments at home and abroad (including arid and semi-arid regions, as well as different soil types of fruits, cotton, economic crops, etc.), introduce and integrate these technologies and experiences that have been tested in practice in a way that suits local conditions. Tailor-made efficient, reliable and adaptable irrigation management models for Agrostar and agriculture in Uzbekistan.



This cooperation marks a solid step forward for China and Uzbekistan in agricultural technology exchanges and cooperation.
