Adhere to scientific, systematic, precise and efficient water control to ensure high quality to complete the water quality improvement target task

On the morning of September 11, Mayor LAN Shaomin presided over a meeting on the completion of the annual target of the city's water environment improvement work.  Vice Mayor Huo Huiping attended.

This year, our city has identified eight major water environment improvement tasks, such as river and lake water environment improvement, construction of main and secondary sewage pipe networks, rain and pollution diversion construction, sewage pipe network investigation and repair, sewage treatment capacity construction, water quality monitoring and evaluation of key sections, water connecting and replenishing and long-term management mechanism construction, and has achieved initial results. The meeting listened to the report on the promotion of the city's water environment, studied and analyzed the difficult problems existing in the water control work, and arranged the key work of the next stage.

At present, the improvement of water environment has reached a critical juncture. It is necessary to further raise the political position, strengthen the overall awareness, fully recognize the urgency and difficulty of water control work, with a stronger sense of responsibility and mission, and focus on the goal of not bringing the substandard V water bodies into the new journey of modernization, to fulfill the responsibilities, intensify the work and improve the standards. To ensure that the city's water environment improvement targets and tasks are accomplished in high quality.

LAN Shaomin requirements, close to the time node, focus on the key link, to ensure that the commitment. We should adhere to the problem-oriented approach, check the water control work deployment of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, check the requirements of high standards of governance, check the feelings and expectations of the public, investigate the bottleneck problems in a strict, detailed and realistic way, analyze the causes in depth, formulate more targeted measures to achieve more accurate and effective governance. We will accelerate the progress of the project, and further strengthen engineering measures such as improving the water quality of key sections, improving the quality of inferior and V water bodies, and diverting rain and pollution. For projects already scheduled for this year, while completing preliminary procedures as soon as possible, we will reverse the schedule and work hard to ensure full completion by the end of the year. For projects listed in next year's plan, we should plan ahead of time and strive to start work, implement and deliver results as early as possible. We should focus on the key points and difficulties, make up our minds, overcome difficulties, strengthen cooperation, and go all out to promote the handover of sewage pipe networks, so as to ensure smooth handover by the end of this year. Strictly implement the "Nanjing Drainage management Regulations", the drainage management into the standardization, legalization of the track, to ensure the completion of this year's certified sewage discharge city coverage 70 % of the target task. To strengthen overall planning and coordination, the municipal water conservancy Office should take the lead, make systematic planning, gather force and promote cooperatively; All districts and relevant departments should have the responsibility to protect the soil, strengthen the subject consciousness, ensure that the responsibility is in place, the work is in place, and the effect is in place, and form an overall joint force to promote the improvement of the water environment, ensure a satisfactory answer paper, and enhance the sense of gain and satisfaction of the public on the water environment management.
