"The water purification station collects mixed rain and sewage sewage, domestic sewage in low-lying areas, sewage discharged from areas with imperfect sewage pipe network, and then purifies it to standard discharge above Class V water, which solves the problems of incomplete diversion of rain and sewage in the city and imperfect construction of basic pipe network facilities, and also enables the treated water to be discharged into the nearby urban river course, realizing ecological water replenishment in the river course. According to the staff, the water purification station is small in size and occupies only half of the area of conventional treatment facilities, but the treatment capacity is not small, with the actual daily treatment capacity of 25,000 cubic meters. It is reported that nearly 10 dispersed temporary water purification stations have been built in the main city of Nanjing.
