48 rivers in Nanjing are included in the provincial backbone river

The Jiangsu provincial government has officially approved the "List of Jiangsu Key River Channels (2018 Revision)" submitted by the provincial Water Resources Department. After the revision, a total of 723 river channels have been included in the provincial backbone river list in Jiangsu, 4 fewer than before. Zijinshan reporter noted that there are 48 rivers involved in Nanjing.

There are four regional rivers related to Nanjing, namely the Yangtze River, Chuhe River (including four Mashan River and four Malcha River), Qinhuai River and Shuiyang River.

In the reply, the provincial government requested the provincial Water resources Department to implement the construction and management power of the newly adjusted backbone river, and improve the river chief system.
