A batch of decentralized water purification facilities will be built at the Drum Tower

Yesterday, the Standing Committee of Gulou District Committee focused on investigating the progress of water quality improvement of key rivers in the south ten Li Changgou mainstream and the Inner Jinchuan River mainstream, and Xu Xiaohua, director of the District Water Resources Bureau, introduced the key work to win the battle of water environment governance this year.

At present, the 25 rivers in the Gulou area have completely eliminated the black odor and are making all-out efforts to achieve the goal of eliminating all five types of bad water. This year, the District will make great efforts to strengthen the water treatment capacity, the new decentralized water treatment facilities as the focus, and by adding sinking weir doors, butterfly valves, double control gates, lifting pumps and other facilities, improve the district's intercepting device fortification standards.

This year, 17 projects of 5 categories have been arranged for the implementation of water environment management in this area. In terms of the construction of decentralized water treatment facilities, five will be built in the northern part of the city and three in the Jiangxinzhou system, with an additional water treatment capacity of 110,000 tons. Among them, the equipment installation at Nanzha and Meijiatang has finished and entered the commissioning stage. The water has reached the end of January, with an average daily handling capacity of 30,000 tons. The two facilities under the approach bridge of Qingnian Road Bridge and inside the Anle Village Pump station, with an average daily processing capacity of 53,000 tons, have been launched for bidding. The bidding will be opened on 18th of this month, the construction will be conducted before the end of the month, and the water will be discharged by the end of May. The construction of Hexi Longjiang Pumping Station and other four facilities can achieve an average daily processing capacity of 27,000 tons, and the project has been approved after the holiday.

This year, there are four water quality improvement projects in the area, among which the Jinchuan River water environment improvement project includes dredging, source control and pollution interception, ecological water replenishment, water level optimization, ecological restoration and automation, and will be completed by the end of May. South ten Li Changgou mainstream (Gulou section) water environment improvement project after the organization of silt removal approach, before the flood season to complete all work. The water quality improvement project of Qingjiang River is currently under bidding. In addition, the northern Hexi water environment improvement project will be launched.

Gulou District will also carry out a water diversion project this year, to realize the north of Hexi Longjiang area of large circulation water diversion. The project will build a new river water pretreatment facility in Xiwei River, and the bidding will be launched after the New Year to ensure its completion within the year. Liu Jun, party chief of Gulou District, said that last year, the district received several inspections of water environmental management and successfully completed all tasks. This year, the region's water environment management project tasks are arduous, these are the Drum Tower set at the beginning of the heavy command, the region will fully implement the early stage, focus on the start, focus on the progress, focus on the completion of the project, do not let full speed forward.
